My education in economics gained at the EU in Wrocław, among others, has given me a solid foundation to build a career in the world of finance. In 2016, I started working to work with some of the largest financial institutions in Poland over the years, such as Raiffeisen Bank Polska, Expander Advisors and KPMG. Numerous trainings, professional challenges or the people I met led me to where I am today – an independent financial expert operating within the EKREDYTOWI Sp. z o.o. consortium.
Cooperation with me is completely free of charge and credit offers are no more expensive than in bank branches. My remuneration after the completion of the credit process is covered by the financial institution where the client has signed the contract. From the bank’s point of view, this form of cooperation also has many advantages. The credit application together with a set of documents prepared by an external expert goes directly to the analysis. Following a positive decision, the bank acquires a customer for many years with relatively little effort. At the same time, it does not bear the costs of advertising, employee payments or the cost of a branch. Instead, it shares its remuneration without burdening the customer’s pocket.

This is the first and one of the most essential steps in the property buying process. Before embarking on the search for the house or flat of your dreams, you should carefully verify your financial possibilities. At this stage, he or she asks many questions about earnings and costs. The customer is given a thorough knowledge of the required own contribution, the minimum duration of employment, currently available government programmes and many other components verified by the bank in the assessment of creditworthiness.
With an established and verified budget, it is easier to achieve the desired goal. Whether it is the purchase of a flat from the secondary market or the search for a plot of land for the construction of a house, clients receive substantive support from me regarding the possibility of financing a specific property. Sounds simple? It is not always so, even in the city centre there are non-standard properties. It is advisable to verify as much information as possible before signing a contract in order to keep the risk to a minimum.
Once the contract for the purchase of the property is signed, the choice of credit offers follows. There are usually three banks to which we submit credit applications at the same time. Customers receive from me a list of financial documents necessary for the bank to assess creditworthiness. The second part of the documentation is the real estate documents. In many cases, clients give me the power of attorney to contact the developer/real estate agent and, on their behalf, I organise the necessary forms, permits or arrange for an expert to value the property.
Having a set of documents, we meet in the office to complete the applications and provide the necessary signatures. I assist and support in completing the many pages of not always understandable and legible forms. Once the applications are signed and completed with the required documentation, I submit them for analysis. At this stage, I oversee the entire process, remaining in constant contact with both the bank and the clients.
Once we have received the credit decisions, we discuss and compare again the conditions proposed by the bank. If nothing raises any doubts and we are sure about the choice of offer, we make an appointment for clients to visit a friendly branch to sign the loan agreement.
This is one of the final stages of the whole process. Depending on the type of property being purchased, it can take place immediately after the decision from the bank or at a later stage, after the developer has built the property being purchased.
